Trains & Tennis

With the LadyBoy sitting beside me in the last internet place, I totally forgot to write where I was!
I was in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. We spent a couple of nights there, and headed on a train up to Nha Trang, which is where we are currently. Ho Chi Minh is like a city full of lucid crackheads, driving at breakneck speed in apparently, whatever direction they want! We were glad to hop on the 7hour train($12USD, we were two of 5 foreigners on the 15 carriage train) up here. It's a nice place here, very chilled out, but sadly there's a lot of pick-pockets etc. here, so we're keeping our eyes peeled... I'm doing a couple of dives here tomorrow morning as it's the best place in Vietnam to do them, so I'll be up bright and early! The day after tomorrow we'll be taking the 26 hour train to Hanoi. Better stock up on some snacks!!

Anywhoo, here is some pics of the last few days:

- I've decided to start taking photos of some of the more ridiculous things you see on a bike here. This will be the first of many. They actually had another bag put up on top after the photo!
- friends we met on the bus to Vietnam, Sébastien from France, and Gogo from Philippines.

- these guys were amazing at what I call, Vietnamese Foot Tennis. It involves something like a shuttlecock you'd use in Badminton.

- sure I had ta have a go! But I was shite.

- I was scared by the fact that Dave's features were looking awful blurry :)

- Chopsticks!!!

- even in Vietnam they know that beer equals food! :)

- Sébastien eating dried Squid, the smell alone was enough for us!

- a dried Squid salesman.

- our train tickets, it says foreigner as we have to pay a lot more than the Vietnamese.

- check out all the wires on the far side of the street, it was a foot square of solid wires!

- on the train.

- looking stupid.

- our lunch on the train yesterday.

- the ingredients made me laugh for a while. What the hell is shortening?!?! Also it all only adds up to about 80%!

- our nice room here in Nha Trang. En suite, with hot water, which is very rare for us, but this is our chill out spot, so we went all out. At 4euro a night each it won't break the bank anyway.

- nothing says 'I love you' like picking nits out of your friends head.

- the beach and a rare standard tourist style pic.
- don't drop them!!! :)
